Friday September 19th
ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY (SC) - LEGENDS
Mike Alcaro claimed the overall victory and the victory in the Semi Pro portion of the 600 Legends race. Alcaro led every lap of the race but his victory was not assured until lap nineteen. For the first eighteen laps of the race Alcaro had someone glued to his rear end. On lap nineteen several cars began to battle for the second position which allowed Alcaro enough breathing room to pull away and take the checkered flag. Chase Elliot finished second. Parker Hammons finished third and claimed the victory in the Pro portion of the race. Trey Poole finished fourth. Brandon Simpson finished fifth. Randy Gunton finished seventh and took the victory in the Masters portion of the race.
NOTE: Due to many drivers preparing for the upcoming Nationals, AMS will not be running the Legends on Saturday, September 27th. They will run at the Season Finale on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd.
