Legends Car Lucas Oil National Road Race Coming to Rockingham Speedway
Bandolero and Thunder Cup Cars Will Join the Legends Cars on the Road Course
Just three weeks before the World Finals in Las Vegas, NV – a race that will crown the world champion for the Legends Car Road Racing Series, drivers will have two chances to prepare and get a few more valuable points in their quest for the championship by racing at the Rockingham Speedway on November 15th and 16th.

The November 15th race is a special Touring Series race that will also help determine a champion for the Raceiver National Touring Series that has Legend racers competing on oval, road course and dirt tracks all over the country for the championship honors.
The race will be held on the .625 road course configuration that uses the infield and part of the one-mile speedway. It is the same configuration that was used in January when the series last visited Rockingham and produced some great racing.
The entry fee for the drivers will be $25 per car and driver – just a fraction of the cost of most of the road racing opportunities for Legend Cars. Race fans can also come out for the action and watch the races from the pit area and get an up close view of the racecars, drivers and track.
There will also be two road course races in January of 2009 with the exact dates announced following the release of the WinterHeat schedule in Charlotte, NC.
