Rule Changes - UPDATE
To: All Legends competitors, INEX Inspectors & 600 Racing, Inc. Dealers
The lifetime ban penalty will be removed from the 1200 cranking compression rule. The cranking compression rule will be enforced as written in the current (2008) INEX rulebook using 165 as the maximum cranking compression.
The other rules addressed in the rule change letter (dated May 1st 2008) will remain as written in the letter. Being found in violation of the tampered shock, tire softness, tampered engine seal & traction control rules will still carry the lifetime ban from all INEX sanctioned events.
Also, The $50,000 appeal fee (on the above listed items) will be reduced to $5,000.
