LegendsNation.com The Official Site Of Winternationals
SpeedWorld To Host Five Days Of Legends & Bandolero Racing In February
When you mention Speedweeks in Florida, there is a lot of action that comes to mind for a racing fan. There is the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series events at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway. There is the dirt track action that goes on night-after-night at both East Bay Raceway Park and Volusia County Speedway. Then, there is the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car racing at New Smyrna Speedway, which runs nine-straight nights at the high-banked, half-mile track.

But there is another piece of the action that has been growing over the last few years – the Winternationals at Orlando SpeedWorld for all types of scale-car racing. And with the tremendous growth of LegendsNation.com, the site is getting involved. This year, LegendsNation.com will serve as the official site of the Winternationals at Orlando SpeedWorld.
“With the growth in popularity of Legends Car racing over the past few years, it is no wonder that it is becoming a bigger part of Speedweeks there in Florida,” said Jason Buckley, editor of LegendsNation.com. “I’m really looking forward to getting down there to Orlando and bringing Legends and Bandolero fans all of the action from the Winternationals. There are a lot of big name drivers that race down there because it is the kick off to the season and lets everyone get a few last races in before they start racing for the National Championship.”
LegendsNation.com will begin its Legends and Bandolero coverage when the cars first hit the track on Monday, February 11 for practice. Racing action for the Legends and Bandolero begins on Tuesday, February 12 and runs every night through Saturday, February 16th.
During the LegendsNation.com coverage, the site will launch a Winternationals Daily coverage page, which will give fans all around the country details about what is going on at the track with updates that will include the day’s activities, along with race results, points and more.
Each day, LegendsNation.com will also present brief race stories that will give fans a more in-depth look at what happened each day in the ranks of the Legends and Bandolero world.
“People have really flocked to our coverage of both the Summer Shootout and Winter Heat at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on LegendsNation.com,” added Buckley. “We are going to do the same thing here at Orlando. We will be the place that people come visit to find results, stories, pictures, points and more. That is what LegendsNation.com has been about since we started and what we will continue to be about.”
And even though LegendsNation.com will not be starting its coverage until Monday, the action at the track will actually begin on Friday, February 8, when the Pro Challenge Series hits the track for two nights of action. Buckley will be following the Pro Challenge action for Speed51.com.
