2008 Summer Shootout Registrants

183 Legends and Bandolero Drivers Ready To Race

The 15th Annual Summer Shootout Series at Lowe's Motor Speedway (NC) is still just over a week away, but the excitement and energy surrounding the most popular series for Legends and Bandolero racing action can be felt across the nation as drivers prepare for the 10-event schedule in hopes they can enter victory lane, or better yet be crowned a champion.

183 drivers have registered to date for the seven Legends and Bandolero divisions that will compete on Tuesday nights throughout the summer along with the Thunder Cup cars, CrashCars and School Bus racing events.

From the Legends side, 30 Masters, 28 Pros, 41 Semi-Pros and 24 Young Lions have registered to race.  In the Bandoleros, 30 Bandits, 24 Young Guns and 10 Outlaws have put their name on paper as entrants to the 2008 Shootout.
