BEGINNER BANDITS: BIGGERS IS SEVENTH DIFFERENT WINNER

The entry level class this season at Concord Motorsport Park has been very competitive. Each week new faces keep rising to the top and in a day they will not soon forget, they end up in victory lane for the first time. Just ask Garrett Biggers who held off Ben Ross for his monumental first win.
“It’s really awesome,” said Biggers. “It’s just like what I have been dreaming of.”
Eight-year-old Biggers might have been looking out the back of his car more then the front in the finals laps of the feature.
“The #28 (Ross) put on a good show and he was already on my bumper,” explained Biggers. “I will always remember looking in my rear view mirror and seeing how close he was."
OUTLAWS: KENDALL SELLERS TAKES WIN NUMBER THREE
Good timing is what sealed the deal for race winner Kendall Sellers in the Outlaw division. Once he got away clean at the start of the race it was pretty much a cake walk for his third win of the season.
“I have been working a lot here on the restarts,” said Sellers. “Most times if you don’t get the job done (on the restarts) then you won’t get it done during the race.”
Once Sellers got the lead he clearly had the better car from the center of the corner and up on the straightaway. He used this advantage to pull away from Nathan Rodgers for the win.
“I really don’t know what we have done to be this good,” added Kendall. “We dominated here last year and we came back with the same package and it’s still working.”
The 16-year-old, who won the track title the previous year, is enjoying his time in the Outlaws class.
“We just come down here for some fun, and hey that’s three for four (wins).”
YOUNG GUNS: CHAD FINCHUM TRAVELS FAR FOR ANOTHER WIN

Yet another win for Chad Finchum (LN Photo)
Rocky Top, Tennessee is a good drive from the quarter-mile track in Concord, but never-the-less it hasn’t stopped Chad Finchum from dropping in for another win.
“Five hours now is like a back yard to us,” said Finchum. “We came down here to race last weekend and we won. I think that’s now 13 wins in a row. It feels great.”
It has been quite a season for Finchum, who has not finished outside the top-two spots all season long in Bandolero Young Guns competition. At some point you would think drivers would start to get worried about keeping their streak alive.
“I thought about superstitions and stuff like that,” said Finchum. “Every track we go to our team is good and so is the car.”
His winning ways have not been limited to just a few tracks like Concord. He has won all over the Southeast.
“I think we have won at ten or eleven different tracks already this year. It has been a great season to date and I hope we continue winning at more tracks throughout the season.”
BANDITS: BASSETT WINS AGAIN
To no surprise the car that rolled into victory lane in the Bandits class was once again Dillon Bassett. In fact the victory was his sixth consecutive win and his seven overall this season at Concord.
“We have won every race except one and we should have won that one but it doesn’t matter because we’re leading the points,” said Bassett. “We’re going for the national points and winning and racing here is just like our back yard to us.”
When a driver racks up a bunch wins it tends to make his head a little bit bigger each week, but that is not the case with Bassett.
“If you get cocky you end up doing something bad,” explained Bassett. “You have to keep your head on straight.”
