SOME CAROLINA DRIVERS SKIPPING CONCORD SUNDAY; RACING KENTUCKY
The buzz in the pit area at Concord Motorsport Park Friday involved the Sunday makeup race. In talking to various drivers, some are choosing to skip the Concord races and instead will be racing at Kentucky Speedway in the KOIL Tour two-day show this weekend. After the races concluded at CMS Friday, some drivers and teams packed up and left immediately for Kentucky. Who will race where Sunday is a good question. We will continue to follow this story here at LN.
CONCORD MOTORSPORT PARK (NC) - Legends and Bandolero Racing Results
A few new faces graced Victory Lane Friday night at Concord Motorsport Park while others made return trips. Thomas Hartensveld won the Legends Pro race, but wasn't in his normal car (details coming soon on LN). In the combined Pro / Masters race, Charles Kiser crossed the checkered flag in third position, but was the Masters winner. Kyle Pierce took the checkered flag in the Charger division and Steven Ross won the Semi Pro race in dominating fashion.
In the Bandoleros, Chandler LeVan won his first Beginner Bandits race with Steven Bergh, Jr driving off into another zip code, winning the Bandits division. Clint King took the checkered flag in a wreck-filled Young Guns race and Kendall Sellers continued his string of wins all across the Carolinas with his win in the Outlaws race

RACING EVERYWHERE THIS WEEKEND; ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY "SOUTH CAROLINA CLASH"
This will be a wild weekend of racing action in the Carolinas. Many races at many tracks give the drivers options. In Western Carolinas, the only track running Legends is Anderson Motor Speedway (SC). As part of the PASS-sanctioned "South Carolina Clash", Legends drivers can show their skill by racing in front of the PASS South Super Late Model drivers and fans. Also on the card is the always wild Reneck Racing Series event, giving the Legends drivers some entertainment outside of their car to go with their race. For more information on the race schedule, visit the PASS South site at www.racewithpass.com.
Here is a recap of where races are occuring over the next three days:
Friday June 1st - Caraway Speedway (NC) - Legends Cars
Friday June 1st - Concord Motorsport Park (NC) - Legends & Bandoleros
Friday June 1st - Wake County Speedway (NC) - Legends Cars

FRIENDSHIP MOTOR SPEEDWAY NOT RUNNING THIS WEEKEND
Due to a schedule change, Friendship Motor Speedway (NC) will not be running this weekend. The next race for Friendship will be "Super Saturday" on June 9th.
Saturday June 2nd
OCR ACTION SPORTS PARK - Bandolero Racing Results
One of the few tracks across the Carolinas to get their racing action in Saturday was OCR Action Sports Park (NC). Mason Hudson in the #46 Bandolero won the Bandits division race while Hunter Synan took his #13 Bando to victory for the Young Guns division. There were no Outlaws that showed due to the racing action in Kentucky this weekend.
RAIN PUSHES ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY RACE TO SUNDAY
The remnants of Tropical Storm Barry are bringing much-needed rain to the dry Southeast this weekend, but they also have forced the postponement of the PASS-sanctioned “South Carolina Clash” races at Anderson Motor Speedway (SC) until Sunday, June 3rd.
Pit gates will open at 12 noon and the full card of main events, including heats, the 125-lap “South Carolina Clash” PASS South, and Anderson’s local Mini Stock and Legends Car divisions will follow beginning at 2pm.
Fans who purchased tickets for Saturday’s event should hold on to their ticket stub and that will allow them admission to the rescheduled “South Carolina Clash” event on Sunday.
COASTAL PLAINS CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN
Coastal Plains Raceway Park cancelled their racing program due to rain. Legends will return to the track with the UARA-Stars on June 16th.
ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY READY FOR LEGENDS ACTION
Legends drivers in the Western Carolinas have one place to race on Saturday, and that is at Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina. 11 Legends showed up for the Friday practice, and more are welcome to join the racing action at the 3/8-mile ashpalt oval. The 20-lap feature starts after 6:00 PM, so drivers have plenty of time to get to the track and race.

ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY - Legends Racing Results
The Legends portion of the South Carolina Clash in Anderson (SC) has concluded. Wesley Thompson won the combined division race giving him the Pro division win as well. John Gallman was second on the track, getting the Semi Pro win with Jerry Rector finishing third, taking the Masters division victory.
CONCORD CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN
It looked decent for racing at Concord Motorsport Park today as rain looked to move out of the area. But a few hours before the gates opened, it started to sprinkle again in Concord, forcing officials to cancel today's racing action for the Legends and Bandoleros.
Today's race was to be a make up race for the rained out May 4th events. At this time, the track has not announced a new make up date for this event.
UPDATE FROM ANDERSON
Speed51.com's Trackside Now is reporting a bright and sunny day this morning for the "South Carolina Clash" PASS-sanctioned events at Anderson Motor Speedway (SC). Included in the events is the Legends race, which is always exciting at AMS. With rain still lingering in the Concord Motorsport Park area, Anderson might be the only place for Legends to race today.
