MORE BENIFITS FOR SHOOTOUT HARD CARD HOLDERS ANNOUNCED
In an email to the competitors Friday, Roger Slack (LMS Director of Events) announced another new benifit for the Summer Shootout hard card holders. See below for the announcement.
ATTENTION ALL SUMMER SHOOTOUT HARD CARD HOLDERS
As an added benefit to all Summer Shootout Hard Card holders, we will now automatically draw for your heat race
position each week before the draw opens at 4 p.m. on Monday nights. You will no longer have to stand in line to
draw for your heat race position (if you are coming to practice on Monday nights, you will still have to stop, pay and
get your practice wristband).
If you would still like to stand in line to draw on Monday or Tuesday nights, please reply back to me no later than
11 a.m. Eastern on Monday.
If you do not plan to race on a particular week, we also ask that you let us know by 11 a.m. Eastern on Monday.
We hope you enjoy the convenience of this new benefit!
Thanks!

MIRRORS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR SHOOTOUT ROUND 2
In the driver's meeting for the Lowe's Motor Speedway (NC) Summer Shootout round one, LMS Director of Events Roger Slack mentioned if blocking was an issue in the night's events, mirrors on the race cars would be removed and not allowed to be used in the second round on Tuesday, June 19th.
Slack confirmed via phone with LegendsNation.com on Friday that blocking did not appear to be an issue during the first round, therefore they will not require removal of the mirrors for the second round.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
Racing is a family sport, and that is especially seen in the Legends and Bandolero nation of racing. LegendsNation.com extends a "Happy Father's Day" to all fathers in the Nation.

CAROLINA BANDO BROTHERS COME UP BIG IN KENTUCKY
After success in the opening round of Summer Shootout on Tuesday night and Thursday Thunder at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the Bassett family made a last minute decision to head to Kentucky Speedway. The Legends and Bandoleros raced during the NASCAR Busch Series weekend in the Bluegrass state.
The trip paid off for the Bando-brothers. DIllon (Bandolero Bandits) and Ronnie (Bandolero Young Guns) started their features from the rear of the field. Both Bassetts marched to the front to take victories and valuable National points.
In all, the Bassetts collected four trophies during their three-track trip. The family was excited about the week, but not excited enough to stay to watch the Busch race. They decided to hit the road early and make the eight-hour journey back to North Carolina.
Adam Roberts took the win in Semi-Pro Legends action and Tony Steffen won the Legends Pro/Masters division event.
Ronnie and his little brother Dillon had a lot to smile about after coming from the back to the front to both win at Kentucky.
