Saturday December 15th

WINTER HEAT ROUND THREE - LEGENDS AND BANDOLEROS (Lowe's Motor Speedway 1/5th Mile)

The third round of Winter Heat action took place Saturday at Lowe's Motor Speedway on the 1/5th-mile back track.  Unfortunately the weather wasn't as pleasant Saturday as it had been just a day or two earlier in the week.  Cold, wind and drizzle dominated the day, sending the event and some races into a tailspin.

While the Outlaws were able to get their feature race in, the rest of the Bandolero features had to be postponed since the track was just too wet for them to race on.  Those divisions will likely race double features on January 26th, the next time the Winter Heat visits the 1/5th-mile back track.

The final Bandolero race at OCR Action Sports Park for the 2007 season will take place today. 

Friday December 14th

WINTER HEAT PRACTICE ON THE 1/5TH MILE

Lowe's Motor Speedway (NC) will have a practice session for the Winter Heat series on the 1/5th-mile back track from 2PM to 6PM.  The cost is $40 per car.
