Crud Brother’s Racing and Falcon Smith win Millbridge Spring Championship
Crud Brother’s Racing is proud to announce that Ohio driver Falcon Smith has piloted the #34 CBR, Embroidery FX, Torco Race Fuels Legends Car to the Pro Division Spring Championship at Millbridge Speedway. After a yearlong layoff, Smith drove to an average finish of 1.87 during the 8-week series.
“It’s really satisfying to come down to NC and run well,” offered Smith. “We had to overcome a lot; a newly rebuilt car, learning a new track, and racing against some tough competition every week. My guys, Matt, Taner, and Chris, really stepped up for us and I have to thank my Dad and Mom for all of their help and support. Also, Justin Wood really helped us out with the use of his shop.”
Crew Chief Matthew Logan added, “ I left a lot on the table, but Falcon absolutely drove the wheels off the car to make up for my shortcomings. To get the results we did was a testament to his driving ability.”
CBR will be back to defend the Championship when the track reopens in August. Until then, the team is actively seeking sponsorship to continue competing in the Carolinas.
