Team Full Throttle and Dan Snyder Racing Sweep Kentucky Legends

Team Full Throttle NASCAR Driver Development racer Christian PaHud climbed back into his Dan Snyder Racing prepared machine for the first time in three weeks, and found it to be just like it was when he stepped out of it as he won both days of KOIL Series Legends action at Kentucky Speedway this weekend. PaHud’s two victories, coupled with Thomas Hartensveld’s win at Bowman-Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC on Friday night and Chad Hackenbracht’s three top fives in three days gave the team three wins and six out of six top five finishes on the weekend.

Christian, a 14-year old Ohio native now living in Harrisburg, NC to chase his dream of becoming a future NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion, didn’t hide his emotions after Sunday’s race was over.  “This is just awesome!” he said with a big smile.  “It’s great to get back in this car and be right back where we were, running up front.  I love this track.  Thomas Hartensveld did me a huge favor letting me run his other car at Lowe’s the past two weeks while we were fixing this one so I could stay in the shootout points, and that really meant a lot to me.  That car was a rocket.  I’m glad he won at Bowman-Gray Friday night.  Our car was really fast all weekend and I need to thank Dan Snyder and my family for all their hard work to help me win these two races.”

PaHud’s 15-year old TFT/DSR teammate Chad Hackenbracht, also from Ohio but now living in Denver, NC, scored a second and fourth at Kentucky following a fifth at Bowman-Gray on Friday. “It was a really good weekend,” Chad said.  “I think I would have had something for Christian on Saturday if I hadn’t started so much farther back, but I’m glad for him and for Thomas with their wins.  I feel like I’m getting more consistent as a driver.  I just have to keep learning.  Dan always gives me a car to run up front.  Bowman-Gray was a lot of fun.  It was weird racing around the outside of a football field.  I hope to go back next year and race there again.”

Snyder was really happy for all of the team’s racers.  “It was definitely a fun weekend,” Dan said.  “Thomas is as good as there is in a Legends car when he’s on his game like he was on Friday, and both Christian and Chad have made great strides in their first half-season in the cars.  We’ve got a strong group of kids that are only going to get better with more experience.  They’ve all got tremendous potential and it is great seeing them do well.  Weekends like this don’t come along often in Legends racing because it’s so competitive, so when you have one you definitely enjoy it until it’s time to prepare for the next race.”
