Lowe's Pole Night Extravaganza Set for October 11th

Human beings are not quite as lucky as some of their other brothers and sisters in the animal world who have the ability to use one eye to look at something in one place and the other eye looking in a different direction.  If so, folks in the Legends Nation would certainly have one eye fixed directly on the action at The Bullring in Las Vegas for the Legends Nationals the weekend of October 10th-13th.

The other eye, however, would be focused right on Lowe’s Motor Speedway where Legends drivers who aren’t making the trek to Vegas will be battling in front of a packed house during NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Pole Night Qualifying on October 11th.

The Legends Pro, Masters and Semi-Pros will be joined by the Bandoleros at Lowe’s on the 11th.  Fans from around the country will be in the Charlotte area for the NEXTEL Cup action, meaning there will be plenty of attention placed on both the Legends and the Bandoleros.

Some drivers will be using the Pole Night festivities as a chance to get back on the quarter-mile at Lowe’s for the first time since the end of the Summer Shootout.  Others will be using it as a shakedown of their machines in preparation for the Spooktacular later in the month and the Winter Heat Series that begins in December on the fifth-mile behind the Lowe’s big track.

600 Racing will draw for all divisions before the start of action on the 11th.
