2007-2008 Lowe's Motor Speedway Winter Heat Schedule Released

During the winter months, many racing series across the country shut down, preparing for the next season. Many drivers are forced to sit on the couch instead of sitting in their race car competing in a race. That isn’t the case for Legends and Bandolero drivers since the formation of the Winter Heat series at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (NC), and recently the dates were announced for the 2007-2008 season.

The season will kick off on Saturday, December 1st on the 1/5th-mile oval behind Lowe's Motor Speedway. After the first three rounds in December, the series takes a break during the Holiday season, returning back to action in January inside the LMS big track, racing the next four events on the road course. The series finale will take place on January 26th, back on the 1/5th-mile oval.

Last year, drivers like Nick Stroupe, Josh Turner, Ryan Blaney and Tyler Green took championships in their respective Bandolero and Legends divisions. This season some of the same drivers are back to battle it out with the newcomers in the nation to see who can come out on top after eight rounds of racing action.
