Summer Shootout Title Fight (Sizzler) - Who Can Win With One To Go
LEGENDS - MASTERS DIVISION
Simply put, it is Clay Hair’s championship to lose. Hair has been consistent all season long, which put him in the Sizzler initially, but the key to his success has been the last two race finishes. A first and a second has him leading Dennis White by 35 points heading into the final race of the Sizzler.
Staying out of trouble might be harder than it looks for Hair. This season Hair missed one event due to heat race issues, so the key for him is staying out of trouble and keeping the mechanics on the car sound. Otherwise White, Tom Van Wingerden or Cotton Spry could steal the championship from him.
Brian Weimer won last week, but his 25th-place finish in the first of the three Sizzler events has him 82 points out of the lead and a long shot to win the championship.

LEGENDS - PRO DIVISION
Jordan Anderson and Mitchell Coble lead the points heading into the final race of the season, but neither have had consistent finishes until the Sizzler started. If both can hold serve in the final race, either Anderson or Coble will win the championship. If their normal up and down routine kicks in and both have trouble throughout the night, they will drop in points.
Casey Roderick was an early favorite to win the championship, but an 18th-place finish last week in someone else’s backup car has him sitting in third, 46 points out of the lead. He should be strong this week, but if the top two drivers do not falter, he will have to watch them take the championship when it was in his grasp.
Tyler Green, Duncan Molesworth and Chris Buescher all are mathematically able to win the championship, but they will have to run up front and hope everyone else they are racing against has problems.

LEGENDS - SEMI-PRO DIVISION
The Semi-Pro division should come down to two drivers: Daniel Hemric and Steven Ross. Both drivers have had two wins this season, but Ross is on a streak of five top-five finishes while Hemric has been up and down. Based on that alone Ross has the advantage going into the final race. However Hemric has a 20-point lead over Ross, giving him a bit of a cushion for the championship.
J.R. Allen and Christian Pahud are not too far behind the leaders, but neither has been consistent enough to put them as favorites.
Kyle Hall might be in contention for the race win Tuesday, but his 26th-place finish last week crushed his chances at the championship unless the top drivers all struggle.

LEGENDS - YOUNG LIONS
The Young Lions division championship has the biggest question mark in the Legends divisions of who will be at the top after the final race. None of the drivers have really stood out as the favorite over the others.
Kyle Pierce currently sits in the points lead by 15 points over Trevor Farbo. Both drivers are the only two with top-five finishes in the two Sizzler races, but both have their work cut out for them as they have struggled during some races this season.
Tyler Millwood, Dylan Presnell and Jordan Penninger are also close enough to the top spot to take the championship. All three have won this season, but all three have also had their fair share of trouble on the track.

BANDOLERO - OUTLAWS DIVISION
The Outlaws division has the closest points battle in the Outlaws division. Kendall Sellers is just 15 points ahead of Christopher McKinney for the top spot with Chris Morgan hanging around in third. All three have been strong this season with Sellers being the strongest.
For McKinney to win the championship, he will have to win the race or finish a few positions ahead of Sellers. Even if he wins and Sellers finishes second, they would tie in points, giving the Championship to Sellers for having more wins during the season. Another problem McKinney has is the teammate situation between Sellers and Morgan. We could see Morgan pull over and let Sellers by for position on the track, giving him more points.
A long shot is Josh Turner. With only 15 or 16 drivers racing in the Outlaws division weekly, there just isn’t enough points for Turner to make up even if he wins and the top three have trouble. It is possible, but not probable.

Kendall Sellers (top) needs to win one more to sew up the championship. However, Christopher McKinney and Chris Morgan are hot on his tail (bottom).

BANDOLERO - YOUNG GUNS DIVISION
Ryan Glenski has the Young Guns championship in the bag. He has to finish ninth or better to win the championship as he is 50 points ahead of Ronnie Bassett, Jr. With an average finishing position of 3.2, including six wins in nine events (including both Sizzler wins to date), Glenski will need to have major issues to lose the title.
If something happens to Glenski, Bassett and Bryce Walker are the only two drivers that look to have a shot at the title. Anything can happen though, and rest assured Bassett and Walker will be pushing their cars to the front and keeping them there, hoping for bad luck to strike Glenski.

BANDOLERO - BANDITS DIVISION
Just like Glenski in the Young Guns, Kyle Plott has a virtual lock on the Bandits championship. Plott has six wins in a row and I doubt anyone is going to bet against him taking a seventh win Tuesday night. Regardless, all he has to do is finish ninth and the title is his.
If for some strange reason Plott has issues, Davey Matthews is right there waiting to steal the championship. The first two Sizzler races has had Matthews second only to Plott, but he will have to do more than just finish well. He will have to wish for Plott to have bad luck if he wants a shot at the title.
Dillon Bassett is the only other driver that might reach the top, but it is unlikely considering the Plott-Matthews combo during the Sizzler.
