In the Stix:   Who Am I And Why Do You Care?
By Jason Buckley
Welcome to the first “In the Stix” on the shiny new LegendsNation.com.  Every week this spot on the site will cause some people to laugh, some to cry, some to give me a high-five at the racetrack and others to give me dirty looks.  What am I going to write about that will be so emotionally charged to cause a ruckus?  Let’s back up a bit first and explain the man behind the keys.

A lot of people know me as “Jason ‘Stix’ Buckley, the forum guy” from MotorsportsLounge.com.  In fact, ever since we announced the coming of Legends Nation, I have been hammered with the same question over and over – ‘Is Legends Nation going to be a forum’?  Many think that since I run discussion forums on ML then that is the extent of my skills.

Oh ye of little knowledge.
(EXECUTIVE EDITOR’S NOTE: LegendsNation.com will not carry message boards, discussion forums or chat rooms; for that style of internet browsing, please go to Motorsports Lounge.)

Besides managing discussion forums, I am also a full-fledged member of the racing media and public relations gig with 51 Sports.  More importantly, I like to get down and dirty with the inside dirt in the garage area.  At the race track you will usually find me mingling with the people, finding out what is a splinter in the minds of the competitors.

That is where “In the Stix” comes in.

From the good to the bad in the Legends and Bandolero realm, I will be writing about topics that are being discussed in the garage area or situations I have observed that get in my brain; thus the reason for the column name.  Nothing is off limits in this ‘no holds barred’ section of LegendsNation.com, which will cause a fire storm of reactions all over the Carolinas and beyond, and that is ok.  Just do not throw things at me.  I bruise easy.

Welcome to LegendsNation.com and “In The Stix”.  It is about to get a little controversial in here.  Are you ready to get into the mind of the Stix?
