THE “BRITISH BULLDOG” ENTERS THE MELTDOWN
The Mason-Dixon line is most known for the division between the north and the south in the United States, but the ‘line’ originated back in the 1760s, resulting from a dispute between British colonies in Colonial America. So, it is only fitting that “The British Bulldog,” Matt Harris, has entered the Semi-Pro Legends portion of the Mason-Dixon Meltdown at Concord Motorsport Park (NC), to be run Friday evening, November 16th.
During the summer months, Harris drove one of BDI Racing’s Legends cars in the Summer Shootout at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The 21-year-old racer from Winchester, U.K. impressed BDI Racing team owner Bob Dillner so much he signed him to run the 2007 Winter Heat Series at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Now, Harris will get a jump on his Winter Legends program by racing to snag the $600-to-win Legends Semi-Pro purse at the second annual Mason-Dixon Meltdown in the #52 BDI Racing entry.

Nick Stroupe has won this year multiple times, including at Dillon Motor Speedway in a Pro Challenge.
Bandolero and Pro Challenge standout Nick Stroupe was to make his Legends Car debut this weekend at the Mason-Dixon Meltdown at Concord Motorsport Park, but a non-racing injury has placed him on the sidelines for a few weeks.
Stroupe, who has won Bandolero races this year at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (NC) and Orlando Speedworld (FL) as well as Pro Challenge events at Peachstate Speedway (GA) and Dillon Motor Speedway (SC), broke his foot earlier this week, ending his chances at the top honors Friday night in the Semi-Pro Legends division event.
The 12-year-old racer will rest up and heal up before making his Legends debut in the Young Lions division, sometime during the Winter Heat Series at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
LegendsNation.com sends our get well wishes to “Slick Nick” on a speedy recovery.
